Technical Data

item products are based on different modular dimensions and their associated system grooves.Profiles from Lines 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 each need corresponding sizes of fasteners. The profiles in Line X feature a Line 8 system groove but have a particularly flat surface withminimum curve radii that make them ideal for building sealed constructions. All substances are registered according to the REACH regulation.REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) ensures that usershave accurate information on the type and properties of operating materials, lubricants, etc.that they might come into contact with.Components that are RoHS-compliant contain no dangerous substances such as lead or cadmium.EC Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS 1) restricts the use of certain substances in electronic devices and components. These include batteries, etc.

Description

Working under pressure – not a problem with the item installation profiles and Pneumatic Connecting Sets 8 G1/2. The G1/2" threaded bore to ISO 228-1 accommodates standard compressed air couplings. The connecting plate is fitted to the side of the Installation Column Profile, at any height. A hole also has to be drilled through to the integrated compressed air duct in the Installation Column Profile. The corresponding drill template is included in the scope of supply.

Assembly Instructions

To help make the necessary through hole, the Pneumatic Connecting Set includes a drill template that is also used to cover over the edge of the through hole. First, position the drill template in the desired position, with the flat side down. Next, use the pneumatic connecting plate, along with the enclosed Hexagon Socket Head Cap Screws and T-Slot Nuts to hold the template securely on the profile.
Using a ⌀ 10.0 mm metal spiral drill, drill a through hole into the compressed air conduit through the drill template.
Once the hole has been drilled, remove the pneumatic connecting plate and drill template. Next, enlarge the through hole with a ⌀ 12.7 mm metal spiral drill.
Use a DIN 335 90° 16.5 mm countersink to deburr the enlarged through hole.
To complete installation, lightly grease the plastic O-ring seal and insert it into the opening on the pneumatic connecting plate. Insert the drill template into the through hole, with the raised side facing down.
Next, screw the pneumatic connecting plate into place using a 6 A/F Allan key (tightening torque: 25 Nm).
